This is basically what I rode in while I was in france, with an 90 kph sticker on the rear hatch. God it was slow.

Probably had a base engine or a non-turbo diesel then.

I have the convertible version. With the top open 200 kmph (GPS) on the German Autobahn, no problem and with power to spare. 0-100 in 7 seconds flat I would guess (never timed it properly) , for a subcompact from 19 87. It might or might not have had an engine swap, but still :)

IIRC it had a tiny gas engine. There were also 4 teenage boys going to a concert in the car so it was LOADED down.
